Admissions, Fees & Refund Policy

Admissions, Fees & Refund Policy

Effective: January 1, 2025

1. Admissions

Sattan Astoni College London is committed to a transparent, fair and accessible admissions process. Our published entry requirements, application steps and deadlines are available on the programme pages and the Admissions section of this website.

1.1 Intakes

  • We operate multiple intakes each year (typically January, May and September). Please check the programme page for exact dates.

1.2 How to Apply

  1. Choose your programme and check the published entry requirements.
  2. Prepare required documents (passport/ID, academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency where required, CV for postgraduate applications).
  3. Submit the online application form or email your application to info@sattanastoni.uk.
  4. Attend an interview or assessment if requested by Admissions.
  5. Successful applicants will be issued an Offer Letter (conditional or unconditional).

1.3 Entry Requirements & Decisions

All offers are made in accordance with the published programme entry requirements. Meeting minimum entry criteria does not guarantee an offer. Admissions decisions are final, but applicants may request feedback or submit additional documents for reassessment.

1.4 Right to Cancel or Defer

Applicants may request a deferral in writing. Deferral requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to programme availability and any updated entry requirements.

2. Fees & Payment

All programme fees are published on the relevant programme pages and included in your Offer Letter. Fees may vary by programme, mode of study (online or blended) and student residency status.

2.1 Fee Types

  • Tuition fees: Charged per academic year or per module as specified in the programme fee schedule.
  • Registration / administrative fees: One-time fees where applicable.
  • Additional costs: Optional items such as field trips, placement costs or course materials where specified.

2.2 Payment Methods & Deadlines

  • We accept payments by bank transfer, debit/credit card, and secure online payment portals detailed in your Offer Letter.
  • Payment deadlines will be specified in the Offer Letter. Late payments may lead to registration holds or suspension of access to the learning environment.
  • Students who require an instalment plan must agree terms in writing before enrolment; interest or administration fees may apply.

2.3 Fee Adjustments

Sattan Astoni College London reserves the right to update published fees for future intakes. Fee changes for an already-offered and accepted place will not be applied retrospectively unless in exceptional circumstances and with written notice.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

We aim to be fair and transparent about refunds and cancellations. This policy sets out the circumstances under which tuition and other fees may be refunded.

3.1 Withdrawals by the Student

If you withdraw before the course start date or within an early registration period, you may be eligible for a partial or full refund according to the schedule in your Offer Letter.

  • Before course start: Full refund of tuition fees paid, less any non-refundable administration fee (as specified in your Offer Letter).
  • After course start: Refunds (if any) are calculated pro rata based on the date of official withdrawal and any modules already delivered. Where applicable, a specified administration fee will be deducted.
  • Official withdrawal must be submitted in writing to info@sattanastoni.uk. The withdrawal date is the date the written notice is received.

3.2 Provider Cancellation, Course Closure or Major Changes

In the unlikely event that the College cancels a programme, closes a campus, or makes a significant change that prevents you from completing your study as originally offered, we will put in place a Student Protection Plan and offer appropriate remedies. Remedies may include:

  • Transfer to an alternative programme or provider where available;
  • Pro-rata refund of tuition and related costs where continuation or reasonable transfer is not possible;
  • Compensation for additional reasonable costs incurred as a direct result of the disruption, where appropriate;
  • Support to help you continue or complete your studies.

Student protection plans and the College’s approach to refunds in a Market Exit scenario are prepared in line with recognised higher education guidance. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}

3.3 Exceptional Circumstances

Requests for refunds for exceptional reasons (for example serious medical grounds) will be considered on a case-by-case basis and will normally require supporting documentary evidence (for example a medical certificate). Decisions will follow published procedures and may include partial refunds or credits.

3.4 Timeframe for Refunds

Where a refund is approved, we aim to process refunds within 28 calendar days of approval. Refunds are normally returned via the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

4. Consumer Protection & Complaints

Sattan Astoni College London operates in accordance with UK consumer protection law and higher education guidance. Information given to prospective students is clear, accurate and not misleading. If you have a complaint about fees, refunds or consumer issues you should follow our Complaints & Appeals Policy. If unresolved, you may have the right to external review through an appropriate body (details published in our complaints policy). :contentReference[oaicite:2]{index=2}
